What Is BDH Race Sim Hardware?
BDH Race Sim Hardware is a specialist sim racing brand focused on one thing: building the most mechanically authentic shifters in the sim racing market. Trusted by professional driver development academies and endorsed by Motorsport UK, BDH shifters are engineered from real motorsport architecture — not adapted consumer electronics. Every product is backed by a lifetime warranty and built for both home enthusiasts and commercial training centres.
At Full Push, we carry the BDH lineup shipped Canada-wide from Calgary, with no duties for Canadian customers.
BDH Shifters: H-Pattern & Dual-Mode
BDH H2SQ Dual Mode Shifter
The H2SQ is BDH's flagship shifter and one of the most mechanically sophisticated sim racing shifters available. Its dual-rail architecture allows seamless switching between a slick, positive H-pattern mode and a crisp, locked-out sequential mode — two dedicated mechanisms in a single unit.
In H-pattern mode, two shafts move in unison for a throw inspired by legendary Porsche and BMW gearboxes. In sequential mode, the secondary shaft locks for a dedicated, unambiguous action. The new Hex Drive and hand-tuned mechanism eliminate play entirely, delivering confident, flex-free engagement from the first lap to the last.
At 4kg of full-metal construction, the H2SQ is built for the rigors of professional training academies. It connects via USB-C plug-and-play and is backed by a lifetime warranty for commercial use — the same hardware trusted by Motorsport UK for driver development.
BDH H1 Bazooka H-Pattern Shifter
The H1 is a dedicated H-pattern shifter — no sequential mode, no compromises. Brought back by popular demand as an upgraded version of the original "Bazooka", the H1 is engineered solely for H-pattern use, with every design and component choice optimized for this specific mode of operation.
Hall Effect contactless sensors are standard, eliminating mechanical wear and ensuring consistent input accuracy over the long term. Like all BDH products, the H1 is backed by a comprehensive lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
Coming Soon: BDH Sequential Shifter & Active Shifter
BDH is expanding their lineup with a dedicated sequential shifter and an active shifter — both currently in development. If you want to be first to know when these land at Full Push, browse the BDH collection and check back for updates.
BDH vs the Competition: Why Mechanical Architecture Matters
Most sim racing shifters are adapted from consumer joystick or gamepad components. BDH takes a different approach — every mechanism is purpose-engineered for sim racing, drawing directly from real motorsport gearbox design. The result is a tactile feel and mechanical certainty that drivers who have used real race cars immediately recognize.
The H2SQ's dual-rail system in particular has no direct equivalent in the sim racing market at its price point. For drivers who switch between GT, endurance, and rally disciplines, it eliminates the need to own two separate shifters.
Who Is BDH For?
BDH hardware is built for sim racers who prioritize mechanical feel and long-term reliability over feature count. If you're running iRacing endurance races, Assetto Corsa road car builds, or rally titles where H-pattern and sequential shifting are core to the experience, BDH shifters deliver a level of authenticity that generic sim racing peripherals don't approach.
The H2SQ is also the hardware of choice for professional driver development — if Motorsport UK trusts it for real driver training, it's more than capable of handling your sim rig.
