FAQs

How does the HGP connect?

It connects directly to a PC with the included USB cable, or to a MOZA wheelbase that has a shifter port using the included RJ11 cable.

How many gears does it have?

MOZA lists seven forward gears plus reverse, which covers most road, classic and GT cars in sims that support H-pattern shifting.

Can I turn off the throttle blip?

Yes. MOZA's patented intelligent downshift throttle blip is optional. You can turn it on or off, or customize it, in MOZA Pit House.

Can I fit a different shift knob?

Yes. MOZA says the HGP has a replaceable knob and supports most aftermarket knobs with standard threading. The sensor is a 15-bit non-contact angle sensor, so it does not wear in normal use.
